What We Fix and Install in Atlanta
- Furnaces: furnace repair when the burners won't fire, the blower runs cold, or the system keeps tripping off
- Heat pumps: heat pump repair for units that ice over, hum without starting, or lean on expensive backup heat
- Air conditioners: AC repair for weak airflow, refrigerant leaks and outdoor units that won't kick on
- Replacements: Bryant furnaces and air conditioners fitted to tight attics, crawl spaces and closets
- Tune-ups: a yearly maintenance plan with priority scheduling
- Commercial: repairs for offices, restaurants and storefronts
Heating and Cooling Challenges in Older Intown Homes
Neighborhoods like Inman Park, Morningside, Ansley Park and Brookwood Hills are full of houses built long before central air existed, so the equipment was added later, often wherever it would fit.
Bungalows and Craftsman Homes With Aging Ductwork
Ducts snaking through a shallow crawl space can sag, split at the seams, or lose their insulation over the decades. The result is a back bedroom that never gets comfortable and a system that runs nonstop. We'll find the leaks and the weak runs before recommending anything.
Equipment Packed Into Tight Spaces
In historic homes, a furnace may sit in a hall closet or a cramped attic with little room to work. We size new Bryant equipment to fit the space and the house, not just the old nameplate.
Condos, Offices and the Atlanta Neighborhoods We Serve
Mid-Rise and High-Rise Buildings
Many condos and apartments in Midtown and Old Fourth Ward use in-unit equipment such as fan coils or water-source heat pumps tied to the building's system. We service the equipment inside your unit and coordinate with building management when needed. Offices and shops get the same attention through our commercial service.
Where We Work
We cover intown and north Atlanta, including Midtown, Virginia Highland, Morningside, Ansley Park, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, West Midtown and Brookwood Hills. We also serve Buckhead, Brookhaven, Decatur and Sandy Springs.
Our maintenance plan is $159 a year for the first system and $60 for every added system, with priority scheduling.
Atlanta HVAC Questions and Answers
Which Atlanta neighborhoods do you cover?
We serve intown and north Atlanta, including Midtown, Virginia Highland, Morningside, Ansley Park, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, West Midtown and Brookwood Hills, plus Buckhead.
Why is one room in my old bungalow always uncomfortable?
In older homes, the duct run to that room is often long, crushed, disconnected or uninsulated in the crawl space. Sealing and rebalancing the ductwork usually helps more than a bigger unit.
Can you replace a furnace that sits in a small closet?
Yes. We measure the space, venting and clearances and choose Bryant equipment that fits safely, which is common in historic intown homes.
Do you service HVAC equipment inside Midtown condos?
Yes. We work on the heating and cooling equipment inside individual units, such as fan coils and heat pumps, and coordinate with building management when the work involves shared systems.
Do you work on commercial buildings in Atlanta?
Yes. We repair, install and maintain HVAC for offices, restaurants and retail spaces in Midtown and across intown Atlanta.
What does your maintenance plan cost?
$159 a year for the first system and $60 for each additional one. Members get priority scheduling.

Residential AC Repair in Atlanta
The Air Company of GA
On the upstairs system located in the attic, a faulty electrical component was replaced. R-410A refrigerant was added to bring system pressures back to the proper operating range.
System Status: Both systems are operating and cooling properly as of the completion of repairs. Refrigerant pressures were verified on both units. Delta T readings for both systems are within the acceptable range at approximately 20 degrees, which is consistent with manufacturer specifications.
Technician Notes: Regarding the upstairs attic unit, the refrigerant recharge performed today is not a permanent repair. A leak is present somewhere in the system, and while the unit is currently operating correctly, there is no guarantee on how long the refrigerant charge will hold. The client should be aware that refrigerant loss will likely recur until the source of the leak is located and repaired. A leak search is recommended to prevent further loss of refrigerant and avoid repeat service calls.
Overall Summary: Both the main floor and upstairs systems were serviced and returned to proper cooling operation.
AC Condensation Management Repair in Atlanta
by The Air Company of GA
Work Performed: Upon inspection of the unit, it was found that the wet switch installed on the unit had tripped. Further diagnostics revealed a small puddle of water underneath the wet switch, located directly beneath the PVC takeoff for the drain. It was also noted that the male fitting adapter for the 3/4" PVC pipe had no sealant applied, allowing water to escape at that connection. The old male/female adapter was removed and replaced with a new one, properly primed and cemented. The drain line was cleared.
System Status: Condensate drain line is now sealed and draining properly, with no leaks at the adapter connection. Wet switch is reset and functioning as designed.
Technician Notes: Leak at the adapter fitting was the root cause of the wet switch trip; lack of sealant/primer at the original connection allowed water to bypass the drain line.
Overall Summary: The condensate leak has been resolved by replacing the faulty PVC adapter fitting and clearing the drain line. The system is now operating properly with no further leaks observed.
